The arrangement

You are named in the offer the client signs.

The offer names you, the position and the hours, so the client knows who is doing the work and so do you.

What we look for

Four things we look for.

All four come up in the first conversation, and none of them is a number of years.

You have operated what you built

You have been on the other end of a production incident.

You argue with the architecture

If the data model is wrong, say so.

You write down what you decided

A handover the client can read is part of the deliverable.

You work in French or English

Written work is in English; most meetings are in French.

    A large ERP suite, an industry-specific one.

    Mobile release engineering

    React Native or native, including the store, signing and release process.

    Commerce platform engineering

    Medusa, Shopify Hydrogen, or a modular core you have taken to production.

    Data and reporting

    Warehouse modelling and reporting over operational systems that keep changing.

A defined outcome and an hour envelope, agreed before you start.
Rate
Your rate, in the class the work belongs to. No junior-for-senior.
Accountability
One architect owns the whole; you own your position.
